Basic Home Intercom System

This system integrates easily with our basic doorbell w/ intercom set. A great system for long distances, our Basic Home Intercom System can transmit a signal up to 1500 ft.* and uses the existing electrical wiring in your environment as a vehicle to carry the signal between units. There is no need to install new cables or wiring!

This system is fully expandable to an unlimited number of intercom stations by using the A or B channels to communicate with groups of intercoms.

* Although line of site is not required, the maximum range and quality is based on your electrical wiring. This system does require that all the intercoms be plugged into electrical outlets that are all wired to the same breaker box and contained on the same main electrical circuit.

for our application here at our power plant the intercom system is very sufficient. I will let you know how they hold up. they are easily installed, communications is clear and for room to room usage in a some what small area I would recommend this product. I think our intercoms are approximately 60 feet apart in 3 different areas.

I ordered four - 2 Channel Basic Home Intercom System units. Only two were sent but that was quickly fixed by an e-mail.

The units work well together; clear voice, pleasant "Call" tone, small footprint on desk. One unit had to be moved to another outlet since there was too much noice on the first site.

Very pleased with the units and very pleased with the responsive correction of the order error.

What is the brand of these units?
They are manufactured by WestingHouse.

What does it mean when you say these all have to be on the "same circuit"?
The "same circuit" is referring to all of the units being plugged into standard electrical outlets that are all wired to the same breaker/fuse box in your home or office.
